Malania Oleifera, also famous mountain Tung fruit, Ma Lan, evergreen trees. Wild woody oil plants, belonging to a livid evergreen trees, more than 10 meters high, straight trunk, light brown skin. Seeds contain oil, which are oleic acid, palmitic acid and stearic acid. They are good woody oil plants. They can be used as raw materials for lubricating oil and soap making, and also edible, but they should not be eaten more. Cake residue is used as fertilizer. The wood texture is straight, the structure is fine, the material is medium, it is not warped and easy to be processed. It is used for furniture, ship, carving and building. This species grows rapidly and grows well in the deep, fertile and humid limestone mountains of the soil, and can be used as a greening tree in the stone mountain area. Malaniaoleifera monotypic genus, morphological and anatomical characteristics of both primitive characters and evolution features, it has a certain significance for research on classification system of olacaceae. Seed oil can be used as an ideal material for the synthesis of musk ketone muscine.
